Many of us have seen volunteers from St. John Ambulance serving the community at sporting events or public gatherings. These well-trained, uniformed Brigade Members are a welcome sight as they patrol the area, ready to respond in an instant to a medical emergency that may arise.
St. John Ambulance Brigade Members volunteer an average of 5 to 10 hours per month, in this form of "Public Duty". As a charitable organization, St. John Ambulance relies upon contributions made by event organizers in exchange for services in attending their events.
When you arrange for St. John Ambulance to provide first aid services at your event, your donation helps to support a not-for-profit organization and to fund community programs. Having our trained Medical First Responders at your event will help ensure the safety and well-being of those participating and attending.
